We are a friendly and inclusive school, committed to ensuring our children are happy, healthy and successful. We are a Rights Respecting School, where children are centred at the heart of all decisions made (Article 3).  We are part of The Forest Federation of Soudley, Steam Mills and Woodside Primary Schools and all schools benefit from our partnership; the sharing of resources and expertise.  
 
Through our curriculum, work on values and Rights Respecting, we encourage positive social skills, self-respect and a caring attitude towards each other and the wider community. We were inspected as 'Good' again by Ofsted in Feb 2022 and the lovely report can be found in the Documents section of our website. 

We offer a breakfast club, an exciting number of extra-curricular activities including Forest School, sports and music programmes to help develop all aspects of a child’s abilities (Article 29- Education should develop a child's talents and personalities). 

  Our children feel safe, supported by our staff and they enjoy their learning. We are proud of their successes, which are created through strong partnerships between home and school. Together we work to create a school community in which our children can thrive.
